How did you become a notary?

“After graduating from high school, my first office job was being a bank teller and I was asked to be a notary.  I had so much fun stamping checks, handling documents, and helping people that it stuck with me.”

What motivates you after all these years as a notary?

“I love being a notary because it lets me connect with people while helping them through important moments. It’s rewarding to be a trusted part of their process.  My experience caring for my father taught me the value of compassion, patience, and clear communication - qualities I bring into every signing.  I understand that behind every document is a person or family making meaningful decisions, and I'm honored to support them with professionalism and care.  And an added bonus is making new friends along the way.”

What’s the most number of signatures you’ve notarized in one appointment?

“My record for the most signatures in one appointment is 247!  It involved a couple that was selling  a signification amount of out of state mineral land, and it took about six hours. We literally had breakfast and dinner together. 

What was your first job?

“My first job was scooping ice cream at Basking Robbins. I still know how to make a perfect scoop.”

Where did you meet your husband?

"Todd and I met at Central Junior High School in Pittsburg, CA.  It was love at first sight!"

Who do people say you most look like?

“I think I look most like Leah Remini from “King of Queens.” I’ve been told Jennifer Love Hewitt and Lacey Chabert.”
